April 2025, volunteer engineer Ida Øwre Lundby and project manager Elise from Engineers Without Borders Norway travelled to Kafountine, Senegal, to support Niafrangs Venner’s circular plastic-waste project, upgrading safety and installing new equipment that turns collected plastics into paving bricks at Kerewane Plastique.
