Digital Oppdragsrapport 16.03: Assessment of waters' suitability in Upper East Region, Ghana
Thursday 16th of March, from 3 to 4 pm, you are invited to hear a presentation of fieldwork and master thesis in Upper East Region, Ghana, assessing available water quality for drinking and agricultural use.
Master student Erik Storrønning will shortly present discoveries from physio-chemical and microbiological analyses in the study area, in-depth interviews with local users and field observations targeting water quality. Preemptive and treatment measures for improved water quality will be presented, and lastly, experiences from both IUG-mentor Atle Dagestad and master student will be discussed.
This fieldwork and Master thesis is part of EWB Norways's Master med Mening program, and were carried out in collaboration with TRAX Ghana.
